Last week my step-dad, Mike Patton, had a close brush with death. He had a couple of heart attacks and total corinary blockage. Thank God for some collateral arteries that kept blood pumping through there. The cool thing is that after several stints, he is recovering well. And he has decided to divorce his pride and make changes toward being a more unifying person. Praise God! Here's to you, Mike, and the next 30 years! May they be better than the last.
