Just Got in! It's Late, but I have a certain crooner on my mind...

I just got in from the Michael Buble concert with my wonderful amazing friend of 16 years, Cassie...and I cannot blog about it fast enough. It was probably my favorite concert ever! He was so funny, so sexy, and, um, can kinda, ya know... SING! And
some of my favorite jazz songs too! What could be better?
I took the above picture with my phone, so it's not great, but here's a good one:

And, is it just me or doesn't he look an awful lot like one of my other all time fave faces, Joshua Jackson:

Oh well...That's enough of silly celebrity butterflies. I'm off to get in the bed with my real heartthrob! ;)

Dying to Decorate

I don't know if I have mentioned it lately, but I love to decorate! Love Love Love! But could someone please tell me why in the world it is that I can never decorate my own home?! I can work wonders in other's, but when it comes to mine, I just get stuck. Then there is the fact that I hate to spend money on myself. Okay, enough complaining. Here's my guest room:

What am I going to do with this room? Here's some thoughts of mine:

Also, Right now, I have no headboard, so I think that's gotta be an opportunity to get creative. Hmmm, let's see...

Rice Play Day

I got this idea on one of my favorite blogs, and the boys had an absolute blast playing with rice! It was less messy than sand would have been too (thank goodness for our porch). I just picked up a mega bag of rice from costco, took it home, and set the boys free to be creative. Their favorite pretend game with it was cooking dinner for Mommy. And, we still have plenty left over to play the game another day.

Charleston

Charleston was amazingly beautiful! Archetecture Archetecture Archetecture!

Blake was most excited about seeing his old Fraternity's Alpha Chapter!

This was our unbelievable bed and breakfast, the 27th Street. Highly Reccommend!

Pi Kap House!

Muscadine Wine

Blake's sweet uncle and cousin picked 13 pounds of Muscadines for Blake to make wine with. So, we thought we would have some fun and step on them Italian style. Besides the fact that it was like jumping around in ice, it was pretty fun. Making memories...

Twilight Saga

Sorry, I haven't blogged in forever. 2 weeks ago, my life was totally halted when I discovered the Twilight Saga! I can't believe I got so wrapped up in the world of vampires and werewolves, but truely it is one of the greatest love stories I have ever read. And the author, Stephanie Meyer is nothing short of a genius! She left no faint question unanswered as you entered her world. Every detail was beautifully described. I tend to get excited about books, but this entire series is a masterpiece. I highly reccommend you leave this blog, and go order it right now!!! But be forewarned, you will lose out on a little sleep, paperwork will start building up, and dust will start to collect. But, trust me, it is all very very worth it. The movie comes out in November (i think), but there is no possible way it can give you more than a taste of what you will be longing for if you just read it. Sure it's 4 books...Sure each one is 600+ pages long (anyone can do it if I did, seriously)...I promise, you will be waiting in line if there is ever a 5th. It's just that good!
